Kernon-x sent a member to the Trelawney Alliance's public meeting on housing last week in Camborne. The group is a pressure group formed because it felt that local housing needs in Cornwall are not being met by the government's South West Regional Assembly.
The Regional Spatial Stategy (RSS) plans 67,000 new homes for Cornwall over the next 20 years but, 82 % of which will not be available to local residents. The RSS has not said where the addition jobs will come from or where the funding for addition infrastructure will come from.
